About Me
Hello, I am Vassilina
Born in Heraklion, Crete in 1994.
I am a freelance flute player, and flute teacher with experience in teaching, ensemble music, and orchestra playing.
I am very fond of baroque music and classical ensemble formations.
I also like to work with ensembles, experiment with Contemporary music, electronic sounds and the blending of arts.
I have been a member of the Netherlands Young Orchestra (NJO) and the Greek Young Orchestra MOYSA.
As a soloist, I have collaborated with the Thessaloniki's State Symphony Orchestra, and the Filarmonic Orchestra of the
Municipality of Thessaloniki, and the Orchestra of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki.
My first music lessons were at the Heraklion Conservatory "Apollon" with B.Beutter.
In 2008 I continued my studies at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki in the flute class of Matoula Hatzi, from where I graduated in 2015.
Afterwards, I continued my studies in The Royal conservatory of The Hague, obtaining my Bachelor degree in 2019.
I have attended masterclasses with great flute players like Denis Bouriakov, William Bennet, Silvia Carredu, Emily Beynon, Sophie Cherrie, Mario Caroli, and others.
